As adults, it takes a little more energy and focus to create fun, don’t you think? What do you do for fun? I’m yearning a great big juicy dose of fun right now. Do you have any recommendations? I’d LOVE to hear your suggestions. Please share to inspire myself and others.
I’ve already done a few fun things and I’d like to share to inspire:

My hot air balloon ride with my honey was sweet, beautiful, and fun. We received it as a wedding gift (GREAT wedding gift idea). Witnessing the setup for our balloon ride was cool. The large balloon was laid out on the ground, and then the torch was lit, and the balloon began to fill up. I remember being in the basket, staring at the ground through the lens of the camcorder, ready for takeoff, and do you know what happened? All of a sudden, the ground started moving away from the balloon basket. There was no take off you at all. Instead it was a ‘float’ off, not a takeoff. We were literally floating. Occasionally, while I was up in the sky floating, I thought to myself, ‘there is only a woven basket beneath my feet keeping me up here’. Those were the scariest moments. The landing was smooth and seamless, landing in someone’s backyard. On the ground, we had a champagne toast to complete this fun experience.
Roller coaster rides are always a lot of fun. The anxiety and fear we feel while waiting on line is half the fun. Isn’t it wild watching the roller coaster wiz right by you? The adrenaline pumps even more as you hear the roller coaster riders scream with . . . . . . pleasure, pain, fear, or what exactly? The sounds of the whoosh of the coaster and the screeching brakes mean you’re getting closer and closer to your turn. How do you ride a coaster? If I’m super scared, I close my eyes a lot, and I scream a lot! If I’m feeling the tiniest bit confident, I open my eyes quickly. Weeeeeeeeeeeee!!
I LOVE new activities. They excite me. I LOVE experiencing what other people are up to. It’s helpful to know whether you like new activities as part of your fun, or you if prefer the tradition of an activity again, and again, and again.

PLAY TIME:
Share with me what fun you’re going to do within 30 days. I can’t wait to hear about it. I’ll share too, when I figure it out.
FUN!!! GREAT reminder! What I do for fun depends on the day. Today it’s gorgeous out and I’m going to take a walk through the trails near my home which surround a little pond. I also love to call my sister and see her kids. This month, I was actually given an assignment by my Kabbalah teacher to do 3 things that I liked to do when I was a kid! So, I have to find an episode of this cartoon my brother and I used to watch. I will check on YouTube….the Barbapapas! No one has ever heard of this besides my brother and me! I may end up having to just reminisce about this with him if it’s not out there to see.
I love to hang out in a cafe and read a fun book. That’s on the agenda for today!
I would actually like to hear about others’ ideas for fun….sometimes they don’t come to mind easily enough!

Hey Kim! THANK YOU FOR SHARING!!
Nope, I’ve never heard of the Barbapapas. Enjoy that delightful exercise of experiencing your childhood fun.
One of my childhood fun activities that I practice privately is chewing bubble gum and blowing the biggest bubbles ever. Hubba Bubba is my favorite bubble gum.
Enjoy your walk in the sunshine. Ahhhhh . . . . . . I’m feeling a little inspired to walk during my lunch break.
Yes, I look forward to what others suggest as well.
In awe of you,
Joni
